Room rules.

Respect the space. Respect the sound.

Important / read first

Before you play.

  1. Please use hand sanitiser before rehearsing.

  2. In bad weather, please bring a change of shoes — especially drummers.

Room care

General

  1. Treat the room and the equipment with care.
  2. Leave the room in the same condition in which you found it.
  3. It is forbidden to use the equipment for any purpose other than intended.
  4. The person responsible is liable for intentional damage.

Instruments

Drums

  1. Do not hit drums and cymbals with excessive force.
  2. Do not sit on the drum stool when you are not playing.
  3. After rehearsing, make sure that every part of the drum kit is back in its place.
  4. Do not place drinks or other objects on the instruments or near the electronics.

Instruments

Guitars & amplifiers

  1. Return all three guitars to their stands after use.
  2. Do not lay guitars on the floor, on amplifiers or on other surfaces.
  3. Before plugging or unplugging cables, make sure the devices are switched off or turned down.
  4. Do not turn amplifiers up to maximum volume without consulting everyone present.
  5. Cables must not be placed where people can step on them.

Equipment

Electronics & tech

  1. Before switching anything on, check that all cables are connected correctly.
  2. Do not use damaged cables, power supplies or connectors.
  3. Never pull devices by the cable.
  4. After rehearsing, switch off amplifiers, speakers, the mixing desk and all other devices.
  5. If something malfunctions, do not try to repair the equipment yourself. Inform the person responsible at: [PHONE NUMBER TO BE ADDED].

Equipment

Microphones & more

  1. Do not throw or drop microphones.
  2. Set up stands securely and do not overload them.
  3. Return microphones and stands to their places after use.
  4. Do not adjust devices unless necessary.

Room care

Food & drink

  1. Keep drinks away from drums, amplifiers, the mixing desk and other electronics.
  2. Do not place cups or bottles on the equipment.
  3. Do not leave any rubbish behind.
  4. If something is spilled, report it and clean it up immediately.

Respect

Volume

  1. Do not turn the system up to dangerously high volume.
  2. Be considerate of neighbours and other people in the building.
  3. If someone asks you to turn it down, do not ignore the request.

After rehearsing

Before you leave.

  1. Dispose of rubbish.
  2. Return guitars to their stands.
  3. Leave the drum kit tidy.
  4. Coil cables and put them away neatly.
  5. Return microphones and stands to their places.
  6. Switch off all equipment.
  7. Check the lights and power.
  8. Lock the room.

The most important rule

The rehearsal room is no place for carelessness.

Keep the room ready for the next person.

  • Something broken? — Report it.
  • Something made dirty? — Clean it up.
  • Something taken? — Put it back.
  • Something adjusted? — Restore it to its original state.

Take care of the equipment — everyone wants to use it!
